quiet words

We willingly enslave ourselves everyday. To our masks and our mirrors, to our “not being good enough”, to the constant comparison of those around us. We are working so hard, killing ourselves even, all to appease a material concept so shallow the Father cries out on our behalf.

“Child, do not believe the lies. Do not believe who the world says you are.”

And even when our logic, our instinct, and our Messiah tell us the story of Truth; the story that we are loved, loved, loved as we are we obey the whispers of deceit. We are so quick to believe those whispers; so quick to give way to what has never been, what will never be.

Trusting the love of the Father so little, we forcefully reject who He says we are and cling to the chatter of destruction. With such self-hate, we choose a life of jail cell behavior over the life of a rescued orphan.

Silence the broken record of calculated lies. Silence the broken record of calculated lies. And know who you are.

Cling to “…whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable.”

Let us turn, turn, turn to what is real. Peel the scales off your eyes and see your place in Kingdom come.

“How glorious the splendor of a human heart that trusts that it is loved!”
